The Book Traveler

When sword-wielding Jardall unexpectedly falls into the real world straight out of The Prince—the book in which he is the main character—he has no idea what to do. Robert, the librarian who finds him, shows Jardall around and introduces him to all the unfamiliar and wonderful modern technology. While helping at the library, Jardall makes plans to return to his own world with the aid of Robert. But only ten-year-old avid library patron, Asher, and his friends will be able to save their new, unlikely librarian in this exciting adventure, The Book Traveler.

About the Author

Valerie Erickson is in her twelfth year as a junior high teacher. She writes books to provide her students with clean, quality entertainment, and she receives much of her inspiration from her students! Valerie also loves encouraging students to read and express themselves through a variety of ways.

Illustrator Zufargho created beautiful pictures to bring the characters of Valerie’s fourth book, The Book Traveler, to life. She first found Zufargho's art online and was intrigued by his unique artistic style.
