The Cajun Prairie Gardens

The Cajun Prairie Gardens demonstrate wildscaping with native prairie plants in southwestern Louisiana. The gardens are family-owned and operated. The book provides an introduction to the authors' family and their gardens. Chapters include a description of some of the gardens: Louisiana irises, mints, peas, milkweeds, sunflowers, grasses, biodiversity and pollinators. A chapter celebrating many of the visitors is followed by a chapter on progressive landscaping and residential planning.
