The Convocation of Colours

Mark Pascal is holidaying in Egypt when, after a tumble, his partner Jocelyn finds a small gold artefact hidden in the ground. Deciding to smuggle it home, they return to London where after closely examining the object, they develop unexplained burns on their hands. Taking it to the British museum sparks a series of consequences that Mark and Jocelyn could never have predicted. The strange history of the artefact begins to unfold. Out of the blue, Mark is invited to join a shadowy organisation called the Convocation of Colours whose activities at first appear benign. The rules of the Convocation are simple and strict, but its true purpose is shrouded in secrecy. After unwitting brushes with members of this secret group and their philosophy, Mark begins to realise the seriousness of Jocelyn and his predicament. The Convocation proves a fearsome opponent, finally trapping the two, and setting them up for elimination. A shocking surprise lies ahead as they await their fate.
