The Cookie Catastrophe

This book is part of a collection of counting books designed to expose young children to early fraction concepts and extend their understanding of whole-number counting to the development of fraction counting sequences. This book was written by undergraduate elementary school teacher candidates at Emmanuel College in Boston, Massachusetts and is the story of three bears who find and eat some cookies baked by a boy named Travis.
