The Dark by Jason Brant
Jason Brant has a way with believable dialog in his writing, which has made him one of my favorite author of horror fiction. Combine the dialog with Brant's fresh approach in situation, will put "The Dark" as a definite read.
I could write a book report, but you should just read "The Dark". You will be immersed in the type of book that you don't realize you are reading. That is the characteristic I look for in a book.
