Natalie has never cared to date, nor has she ever felt the need to. She is more focused on the future ahead of her and would rather chase her dreams than worry about being tied down by a relationship. However, after accepting an internship at a college halfway across the country, Natalie meets a woman named Penny that changes everything for her.
