Publisher Description

"The Dead Are There" is both a stand-alone narrative poem and Civil War-era Western Horror story by B. L. Blankenship. As the name would infer by it's quotation from the Biblical book of Proverbs, it has to do with sexually indulgent women outside of the confines of marriage (in this case prostitutes, not nessisarily an adulterous). It also deals with a serial murderer who takes advantage of women who'll willingly go off alone with a complete stranger. This macabre ballad fits perfectly within the dark cruel world that he's orated so well in his books: "God Walks The Dark Hills: Book I&II" & "Look Away Dixie Land: a collection of Western Horror stories".
