How would your life be different if you could change who you are and what you are to become After a drunken motorcycle accident, Carter Pelsen unknowingly gets the chance, finding himself in a world that defies logic. Coins fall from the sky, flowers take notice of the people walking past, and a person's positive and negative attributes are magnified to extremes. A series of characters and the spectacular events surrounding them are played out before Carter's eyes, showing him both the pitfalls and the joy life offers. Once the secret surrounding this new world is revealed, Carter's ideas of life and death are changed forever. With a series of modern fables mirroring today's society, and a Holden Caufield-esque character for the current generation, "The Distance Between Here and There" proclaims that the secret to life is hidden inside oneself, it only takes self-courage to flesh it out.
