The Doublet Detective. Hit and Run

David Rollo has written three books with Sam Morris- an erudite,

hard drinking, Casino Investigator - the central character* The

first being 'The Blitzkrieg Casino Scam,' followed by 'The Big

Bust.' Both these books dealt with Casino cheats and Morris'

attempts to track them down. A Hit and Run accident being

the catalyst, 'The Doublet Detective' finds Morris, now retired,

drawn into a complex investigation in his attempt to help a

friend find his missing wife. Based in the West End of Glasgow,

with the Doublet Bar in Park Road featuring regularly, the

search moves to the Highlands and back as the body count

rises and the plot draws in more characters each with their

own motives and sinister plans...
