The Dragon Throne

The spellbinding finale to Edmund and Hubert’s adventures concludes with the two Crusader squires achieving their long-dreamed of honor: knighthood.

However, the relief of obtaining knighthood is short-lived as they are plunged into immediate danger in a kingdom filled with turmoil. Prince John is attempting to usurp the authority of his brother, King Richard and only Eleanor of Aquitaine, the mother of the royal brothers, has the power to intervene. The royal mother decides to send the newly dubbed knights, Edmund and Hubert, on a dangerous pilgrimage through the Alps to Rome.

Facing bands of brigands and icy mountain passes on their journey, they arrive in Rome at last where Edmund must prove himself once again to win freedom for himself and his companions . . . as well as glory and love.
