Eighteen-year-old Bryce Ceribri has been gifted with a powerful magic that he has somehow been able to control his entire life. But now the time for peace has ended. The only way to survive it is to be faster, smarter, stronger, and more ruthless than the enemy. After he is blamed for decimating his home city of Omaha and leaving few, if any, survivors, Bryce is taken captive and discovers he does not officially exist anymore in the real world. After he learns that he will be used as a scapegoat to destroy the hopes of all users of magic until he dies, Bryce eventually escapes. As he makes it his mission to resort to any means necessary to survive and build a place where everyone belongs, now only time will tell whether he and a band of friends will be successful or die trying.
