The Dream Interpreter

Michael, a retired businessman, has unfinished business. He feels that certain dreams he had dreamt were not fulfilled. He is possessed by the need to pursue them. After all, it was his dreams that got him to the heights he was able to reach. They made him who he is. They were part of him. 

But the dreams have now left him. What gave him purpose is gone. What drives him now is old dreams that had not been fulfilled and materialised. One dream being that of a rabbit that eats up his giant carrot he worked hard to grow. The identity of whom he feels he had mistaken. He believes this rabbit could unlock all the other paths to fulfil the rest of his dreams. He believes this rabbit could even bring about new dreams, even if they come through his son.

What is it like to believe in something so strongly that you would give up everything you have for it? How much repeated disappointment and failed attempts are you willing to take?
