This book is full of intrigue, romance and passion with hints of books to come with new compelling characters.
Adam Beaumont gets the girl!
I love Lauren Smith’s writing. Especially the League of Rogues. Having a brief introduction to Adam Beaumont in earlier books it is nice to get to know the man in his own story. Letty needed a strong man that could bring her out of her shell. I loved their connection, even from their initial meeting in James & Gillian’s Story you could feel their chemistry. The story held plenty of mystery and intrigue throughout Adam’s life as a spy. Though their marriage came about without much choice, their love grew throughout the story to be a beautiful connection. I especially enjoyed getting to see the new relationships between Adam & his half-sister Gillian. It was nice to see that they were able to create a meaningful sibling bond.
