Willie the Worm loves digging in the dirt, but wonders if there is more to life. A chance encounter with Earl Lee Bird provides the answer when the feathered stranger turns out to be friend rather than foe. As the two fly high over the countryside, Willie sees the results of his underground handiwork in the form of flowers and fields.
