Just ok
Just ok. Light read, thought there would be more magic. I want to say some plot points were predictable but the author choose to go with a clean solution instead of adding drama or suspense. A lot of potential interesting story could of been develop if not for that. Those saying this is spicy, it’s not.

This book is a great read. Easy to get through and full of cozy, witchy romance.

I read this in a single evening because I heard good reviews. It was okay, I’d have liked there to be a little more about magic and the fantasy side of things. Either that, or much more romance. I felt the characters didn’t have much of a character arc at all, they stayed one note the whole time. There was also no real conflict. I noticed there was lots of room for twists and turns to make the ending more satisfying and the story more captivating but it was written so that everything turned out perfectly every single time. I was just kind of bored. There were some spicy parts, but not as much as expected. Either make this super romantic with lots of spicy scenes or give some better conflict and complications to better captivate the readers’ attention. If there were a sequel, I would not be going out of my way to read it.
