She’s faking her amnesia to fool a very real killer.
Shot in the head by a brutal assassin during a case of mistaken identity, poor Lily’s been in a coma for over a year. When she emerges, her killer is right in the room, standing next to the man who saved her life.
In peril every second, and unable to move or protect herself, she must rely on her wits and the goodness of her rescuer, Duff, to help her live through a very dangerous cat-and-mouse game.
As dark forces work to kill Lily in an effort to erase evidence of an even deeper conspiracy, she has to decide who to trust, even as she falls in love with Duff.
Who may be more embroiled in a web of lies than she could ever imagine.

The story is still spinning through my brain
False Memory
I am at a complete loss for words. All I know for certain is that I need to know the rest of the story RIGHT NOW! These interlinked series all lead from one to the next, and when we reached the end of Jane’s story, I knew I wanted to know what happened to Lily. This book about the memories she’s hiding to prevent a killer from succeeding in ending her life sucked me in. It’s now hours after I should have been sound asleep, and yet the story is still spinning through my brain. I was so desperate to know how it ended I couldn’t put the book down. After seeing where it ends, I’m pretty desperate to get my hands on the next book.
False Hope
This is an author who is amazingly good at leaving me speechless. I don’t even know where to start with this book, and how to say anything without giving away big spoilers. I guess, maybe, I start with my favorite part of this story: I adore that it’s told from Duff’s point of view. We get to be up close and personal with how he thinks and feels – especially since he’s been so good at the emotionless façade for as long as we’ve known him. There are so many layers of secrets and conspiracies and counter-plots. Every time one is peeled away, it’s only to discover that there’s so much more going on behind it. And the tangled family trees just keep getting more and more complex. I can’t wait to see how this series ends.
False Start
As with any title from this author, I knew I should buckle in and be prepared to hang on for the ride. And this was a ride I was in no way prepared for. This book picks up almost immediately where the previous one left off. It contains all kinds of new revelations and political wrangling that leave me chomping at the bit to see what the author is going to bring us next. In a lot of ways, this felt a little like two different but connected stories under the same cover. There’s the part that’s an adrenaline-fuelled rush as everyone races to the rescue and then there’s the after-action report for recovery and deciphering the clues they’ve unearthed; a chance for Lily and Duff to connect in a way we mostly haven’t been able to see in the previous books. I don’t know what to expect next, but one thing’s for certain: I can’t wait to get my hands on it.
I received a complimentary copy of this book from the author.
