Disappointed
The first book in this series was great, good character development and intriguing plot... The second book was good and maintained much of good from the first book, but lacked some of the descriptive depth... In the third book, it appeared that the author was losing interest in the storyline and characters, with less fleshed out events. This last book was more like a short story (very short) and as the author mentioned in his notes at the end, he had lost his joy of writing in attempting to give a conclusion to this storyline. I can understand from an author's perspective that forcing a series conclusion would be extremely difficult, but as a reader, it is even worse because we do exactly what an author wants... We get deeply immersed in the story and connected to the characters... so when the storyline and character's future are wrapped up in a couple of paragraphs, it leaves a reader very disillusioned...
Pretty Bad
Unrealistic characters. Weak plot. No description of any action that does occur.
