The Foreign National

Author Luca Mcleod's The Foreign National begins in Thailand, following present-day Marco. On a mission to reset his life, Marco finds that your past has a way of catching up to you, no matter how far you run.

It all started 16 years ago: the moment Marco and his dad thought of a game-changing idea; they were going to connect students from all over the world by bringing collaborative elements into the classroom and offering education to the poor. After this idea skyrockets, a normal childhood for Marco becomes a thing of the past. As Marco's popularity grows and his family experiences unimaginable loss and tragedy, his mental health and his relationship with his dad begins to suffer. Marco then travels the world in hopes of finding peace and the secret to being accepted.
