The Garden in the Mirror

A novel set in Chicago during the holidays, The Garden in the Mirror follows Jane, a low-level manager at a bank, as she tries to recover from depression and grief. At first she has no emotions, then her feelings are ungovernable. Her life at work also becomes complicated, as she is drawn into an investigation of a possible fraud.

Help arrives on Christmas Eve, as Jane finds herself on an adventure. These events leave Jane with a feeling that she has a mission. What is she supposed to do? And what does her sense of mission have to do with the man who has entered her life?
