1994 Newbery Medal Winner

The Giver, the 1994 Newbery Medal winner, has become one of the most influential novels of our time. The haunting story centers on twelve-year-old Jonas, who lives in a seemingly ideal, if colorless, world of conformity and contentment. Not until he is given his life assignment as the Receiver of Memory does he begin to understand the dark, complex secrets behind his fragile community. Lois Lowry has written three companion novels to The Giver, including Gathering Blue, Messenger, and Son.

Ya Boi Elliot ,

Wow!

Great book, was really nice to read. A bit short, took me a few hours. But was worth the money for sure! You have to read this.

Awesome

I read this book in school, it had not that much action no car chases or anything but it was still pretty good for a book that you have to read in school. I read it a while ago so I don't remember details, I remember that it was amazing though it is a very unique book I totally recommend it!

Idk what the title should be

THIS BOOK IS AMAZING!!! At first it is kinda confusing but it's a lot of fun to figure things out with the main character. Btw there is a whole series for this and I'm on the last book of the series. The second book of the series doesn't make sense with the first one but trust me in the 3rd book it all comes together.
