The Glass Ceiling

THE GLASS CEILING is a story of the impenetrable barrier women and other minorities face in social and business life. Jennifer is a highly qualified electronics engineer working for a large international company. There is a vacancy within the company for a manager of the research department, a job that she is well qualified for and one that she badly wants. She is informed that the company has advertised the post widely but she hasn't even been considered for the appointment, that makes her angry.
