Publisher Description

Paul, a religious teen living in a small conservative town, finds his world turned upside down when he meets Manuel—a young man who says he’s both Christian and gay, two things that Paul didn’t think could coexist in one person. Doesn’t the Bible forbid homosexuality? As Paul struggles with Manuel’s interpretation of the Bible, thoughts that Paul has long tried to bury begin to surface, and he finds himself re-examining his whole life. This is an unforgettable book on an extremely timely topic that strives to open minds on both ends of the spectrum.

GMcCloud ,

A book for religious LGBT teens.

The books has an amazing story to it as well as great meanings and a wonderful way of making you rethink of how you read the bible. Being catholic and gay this book opened my eyes to how it isn't wrong to be who I am, and how the bible isn't a set of rules to follow but instead the worlds longest love letter that should be read every so often.
I still read this book over and over reading the ways Alex Sanchez has interpreted the scriptures that people use against homosexuality. This book is essential for any religious LGBT teens who almost follow the ignorant idea that sexuality is something you can change.
