I never expected to fall for my boss.  Now my mother thinks I’m being an idiot, or even worse, a cliche.  She thinks I’m a naive little girl waiting to be seduced by a rich and powerful man.  But it doesn’t feel like that.  It feels like there could be more to this relationship.  I’m not saying it’s love, but it’s definitely something incredible.  What’s the worse that could happen?  I get my heart broken and lose my virginity.  Whatever the outcome, I know one thing for sure, I won’t lose my job.  I have a signed contract guaranteeing that.

“Nothing will happen that we don’t want to happen.” That statement doesn’t sound anything like me, but I said it.  Just like I agreed to a contract guaranteeing I wouldn’t fire Gabriella, but promote her if we broke up.  I don’t know what I was thinking.  Just more proof, of the power Gabriella has over me.  And to cap it off, I’ve become celibate.  I never saw that coming, just like I never expected her mother to ask me the question she did.
