The relationship between Moira and Gil is one of frenemies; Moira struggles to be anything but rude to our story line hero, something that did not sit well in the early stages of the story line premise. Gil fell in love with Moira years before but our heroine is oblivious to Gil’s attraction, and continues to push Gil out of her life. There are no $ex scenes.
The secondary and supporting characters includes the return of : attorney Jake Fletcher, and Trish Langley (The Summer Cottage 1); Sheriff Miles Bruno, and midwife/nurse Lucy Hannigan (The Christmas Village 2): Della Rose (A Forever Home) 2.5); Tess Lane and River Harrison (the True Love Bookshop 3). THE GOOD LUCK CAFÉ is a sweet story of romance and struggle, and unrequited love. The premise is cute and captivating; the characters are charismatic and determined; the romance is subtle.
