Delicious novella!
Louise Potter and her family have fallen on hard times, forced to accept a position as governess to help their financial situation she accepts the position readily. Her travelling companion the elderly (not) uncle of her employer considering the age of her soon to be charges. She soon discovers that he’s Sin incarnate!
Alistair Langley is summoned by his brother to meet the young woman he has arranged as his bride, he has to escort the new governess as well. Making matters worse is that THE governess is shockingly beautiful!
Travelling to their destination they get to know each other and love blooms, feelings of inadequacy have Louise not admitting to her feelings for Alistair. He feels that he needs to do his duty or be cut from his inheritance. But sometimes a man has got to do what he needs to in the name of LOVE!
This was a great novella that flowed nicely and the characters were well liked although the story was short it was nicely done. The relationship developed nicely and we experienced their feelings along with Louise and Alistair.
