Music industry peers, members of his own band, and his Brooklyn neighbors all gasped when they heard that Gregory Mitchell, the Grammy Award winning jazz artist, left his impressive career to raise his little girl as a single parent. Gregory had no regrets. He loved his little Gracie and she loved him with all her heart. They were inseparable.
