It is a modern fantasy series and is packed full of adventure, mythical creatures, and a sapphic romantic sub-plot.
If you enjoy mythical creatures, zoo documentaries, slow burn sapphic romantic sub-plots, and a heroine who loves animals, you're going to love this series.

A magical moment
This is a magical adventure learning how to care for magical creatures. Charlotte is accepted at the Griffin Sanctuary to be a unicorn keeper in the first book. She meets her two coworkers and other interns. In the next book she is now learning how to be an assistant veterinarian and you get to meet two phoenixes who do not get along. There is some laugh out loud moments in this book. Then in the third book they are taking care of a kitsune who is lonely, trying to find her a friend. I also enjoyed the banter between Felicity and Charlotte. This is a really good series with good characters. I enjoyed all three books. I would recommend them.
