The hardest peace
If you are dealing with cancer, if you are raising children, if you want to do marriage well, if you want to grow in your faith, if you are dealing with hard things in life - or if you are supporting someone in any of these situations, this book is for you! (In case you are still wondering, I think everyone should read it). Kara is honest, she is real, she doesn't hide the struggle, the devastation or the beauty and grace found in travelling the path of the hardest peace. I've recently joined her in the cancer story, diagnosed a bit over three months ago, and I find that this warrior who has been on this journey longer than me gives voice to my fear, my worries, my hopes, my dreams, but most if all my wish to journey along this path well, not avoiding the hard peace, but growin through it and blessing my people in brokenness and love.
