The Hemlock Aperture

A hero on crutches, flying barrel carts, Shawnee Indian magic, and a glow-in-the-dark magic pond in the back of the enchanted forest. Bolt and the Mad River Magic gang have it all, spending the summers with their grandparents, exploring the enchanted forest, and practicing light magic…until an evil force opens an aperture into an unknown world.



When the gang is sucked into the aperture, they land in the Stata, a kingdom cloaked in all shades of gray, where good and evil compete to influence behavior back in the “real” world. Bolt and the gang must use their talents and magic to find Omni (ruler of light), and conquer Extor (ruler of night), if they are to return to their family and their beloved enchanted forest.
