Carey has been Melly’s assistant for 10 years ... but assistant doesn’t really cover all she does for Melissa and Rusty in their home improvement empire. Two months ago James was hired as a structured engineer ... but he’s really there to babysit Rusty while they go on a book tour. Rusty and Melissa are on the brink of divorce and if that happens all their worlds will come tumbling down, so Carey and James have their hands full.
I laughed so hard at Carey and James ... what a hoot! They are so totally opposite but you just knew that there was chemistry between them. As for Rusty and Melly ... well I just wanted to give them both a swift kick! This is a cute, funny, sexy, opposites attract romance that will have you laughing out loud.

Let me start by saying that I love every Christina Lauren book! I have almost read them all and absolutely love their writing. I just couldn’t get into this book or the characters. I had a hard time believing the love story between Carey and James. Maybe because there was so much focus on the supporting characters. Still an easy read but not a page turner like the rest (for me).
