Yet another filler title for the Horus Heresy
For those who have been reading the Horus Heresy series since April of 2006, one can wonder when GW and the Black Library will wind this puppy down. We all know the conclusion and while authors such as Dan Abnett and Chris Wright and others have penned exceptional (and I mean exceptional) stories that take us to places in the Heresy no player ever dreamed of, GW wants to milk every penny from this franchise. Enter the filler.
There have more than a fair number of filler stories, with some truly abominable like Battle for the Abyss (unreadable). Others are stories filled with potential that go nowhere but into shoot hell. The Honoured unfortunately falls into that category.
What started with so much promise and interest for the main characters just falls down in bolter round nonsense by page 100 where hundreds of marines with limited ammo blow each other to bits. You can pass on this book as it does nothing to move the storyline along.
