APPLE BOOKS REVIEW
One-man publishing industry James Patterson and sports journalist Mike Lupica team up for this thrilling, emotional tale about a mother and daughter whose shared love of horseback riding turns them into rivals. Maggie Atwood was crushed when she and her horse, Coronado, fell short of making the Olympic show-jumping team. Her daughter, Becky, has always shown raw talent on her own horse, Sky, but she’s lacked the drive…until now. When Becky decides to vie for a spot on the team, it’s up to acerbic matriarch Caroline to manage the fiery family dynamics between her daughter and granddaughter. Patterson is known for his fast-paced thrillers—and his mastery of suspense and Lupica’s sports knowledge make a perfect team for the breakneck equestrian world. If you’re looking for a gripping drama, this tale of love, loyalty, and competition is for you.

A good read for any equine enthusiast
The Horsewoman
I’m giving this book a 3*. I really enjoy James Patterson books when he the sole author. When he writes with another author, the books are not James Patterson. I will not purchase another James Patterson book when there is another author involved. Very disappointing .
