The Illegal

Jose and his wife, Elmira, have everything a young couple could want in this world: love, a home and family, and good health needed to work and provide for themselves. Then Enrique, the town bully, decides he wants a wife and begins looking for one. He sees Elmira as the most beautiful woman in the community and pursues her. Enrique sets in motion a wave of fear that forces Jose to leave his beloved wife and children. Jose flees to the United States, the land of promise.
