The Island Games

When you live on an Island 2,000 km from the nearest landmass, there isn't a lot of competition to be had. The Island Games brings amateur athletes with a sense of community from around the world in a celebration of sport. So what does a games like this mean to its participants? To find out I meet athletes from far flung posts of the British Isles and others hoping to qualify for London 2012.
