The children of Blackburn Parish have been missing. Along with each of them,
an important possession of theirs is missing. Is this small community stuck
with a predator? Could a nosy teenager solve this mystery? Jackie, a junior
journalist, is prepared to put her wits against those of the local authorities.
Her desire is to be taken seriously as a writer and to win a position with her
local paper as a junior writer. With her assistance, the citizens of Blackburn
