Publisher Description
The author through this novel talks about a princess who attempts to choose the fate for her lover–the lady or the tiger. "The lady, or the tiger?" has come into the English language as an allegorical expression, a shorthand indication or signifier for a problem that is unsolvable.

Short story allows for long discussions on philosophy and justice
Because of this short story’s themes which are deeper than one would expect for its length, and its open-ended ending, I do not think I will soon forget it, and I feel it will make for an excellent discussion piece.
