Gamble on Love!!!
Lucius Reese is a man obsessed on getting his son back, he knows that his half brother is behind his sons abduction and will stop at nothing to get him back. As part owner to the elite gaming hell The Underworld he has more money than he knows what to do with but all that pales and leaves a void in his soul that only being reunited with his son can heal. Finally he has a lead and it's a governess by the name Georgina Smith in Coventry.
Georgina Smith aka Lady Georgina Harwood has been in hiding for the past nine months, she feels quite safe posing as a governess until this very attractive man came crashing in and disturbs her orderly existence.
Claiming to be the father to Nate whom she was governess too a while back.
Feeling the mans grief and pain she offers him whatever she could recall about her time with his son. Demanding that Georgina accompany him to London and confront his brother didn't have the outcome Luke expected. Not satisfied with the delectable governesses resistance and through some mishaps he convinced her to make the trip. Even though he keeps on picturing her in different scandalous scenes. Thoughts about her keep him slightly loosing focus. He needs to find his son not get romantically involved. But what secrets is she hiding? Or maybe from whom?
This was my favourite of all the Bastards of London books, I fell in love with Luke and Georgina really felt his pain in his search for his son, I think it's every parents nightmare really, he's a wonderful father leaving no stone unturned and falling in love along the way. Georgina did a great job of facing her fears even though she felt she had to become the sacrificial lamb to save her family from poverty. Being reunited with his son Luke wouldn't leave his dreams of a family be lost to him.
Sensational story with lots of emotions that keep you glued to every single word. Fast paced with secrets revealed that lead to solving the mystery of Nates abduction.
