The Laughing Cavalier

A young boy in Europe post World War II. He has no family. He has no friends. He is alone, shielded from life by overprotective survivor parents, who themselves are under constant surveillance and fear.
There is a revolution. A whole new world opens up for Feri.
There are tanks in the streets. He can see into houses because the sides have been blasted away. There are real soldiers in the street.
A boy’s own dream has come true. The adventure begins - Feri’s new life. A life that he believes is normal, but is anything but. He is plucked from his home and thrown across borders and continents. He experiences a unique journey. It is a journey through time and space.
We follow him. Weird and wonderful characters drift in and out of his narrative. He explores wild places.
