The Light Void

In our Universe, there are Cosmic Voids. These are areas of space where there is relatively little mass. There are Galaxies within Cosmic Voids. These Galaxies are made of matter. But, it's different. It's so different that it has very little mass. I think it might be possible, at least in a sci-fi book and perhaps in reality, for there to be a network of Cosmic Voids. Together, they might make a Voidiverse.

Cosmic Voids are large. Still, it makes you wonder if there could be such a phenomenon lurking behind some closed, hidden door. Perhaps, there's such a door in your house. Perhaps, you keep it hidden and locked to keep you from falling into that Void.

What if, instead, there's a different yet similar phenomenon? This particular phenomenon is one where, rather than there being very little mass, there's absolutely zero light. Not only is there no light in such a place, light can't even exist there. Could there be such a place just within reach in your world? Could it be somewhere behind a nearby door?
