The Lighthouse Cafe
Publisher Description
At the reading of her late husband's will, 53-year-old Ginny Rigsby discovers two things—he had a secret family, and she has one hour to vacate the premises before that family takes possession of her beloved home.
Grief-stricken by this crushing revelation and now homeless, Ginny drives until she finds herself at the foot of the emerald waters in Florida's Gulf Coast. There, she stumbles into an auction—an historical lighthouse is up for grabs to the highest bidder.
Before she can second guess her actions, Ginny buys the place. Determined to make a fresh go with her life, she decides to turn the lighthouse into a café, and the menu will be inspired from her late mother's Southern cookbook. She hopes this new venture will distract her from the life she lost and offer some healing.
Reece Rigby is a second-year medical student who wants to be anything but. When she discovers that her mother needs help starting up a café in an old lighthouse, she jumps at the chance. Maybe while she's there, Reece will find her heart's true calling.
Chandler Rigby has a successful career in New York as a jewelry designer. That is, until her business dries up. Even though she's got a fantastic boyfriend in the dashing Hudson, Chandler has lost her muse. Maybe an extended trip to the beach will help her reclaim her art.
Together, these three women will search for purpose in their lives. They will discover heartache and love, inspiration, and healing. Secrets from the past and present will be revealed, and Ginny will discover a new life that will sweep her off her feet.
