The Long March

Kevin Sheedy is a true legend of the Australian game of football. He is a man whose impact has gone beyond that of player —251 games for Richmond from 1967-79—and coach—for Essendon and Greater Western Sydney. Having notched a record-breaking 1000 VFL/AFL games by 2012, Sheedy has been a relentlessly outspoken leader, educator and provocateur at the forefront of football’s evolving landscape as it continues its long march up the east coast of Australia.
