The Longest Road

It's 1985, no cell phones, no computers and MTV is brand new. For the benefit of starving Ethiopians, Bob Geldof has put together the largest, dual-continent concert of all time. With satellite technology, the concert was seen by over 1.5 billion in over 100 countries. Headlined by the best musical acts of the time, it was a cornucopia of talent all performing for free. Follow young Mark and his two companions, Dena and Sheila, as they travel cross-country in his trusty pick-up truck, hell bent to arrive by hook or crook in time to see the spectacle at JFK Stadium in Philadelphia.
