The Lost Birds

Toomo, a young zebra finch, is kidnapped in Australia and transported under the most brutal conditions to England. He is sold to a family who need a companion for a female finch named Henabe. Life is good for a while, until a cat gets into the house with the intention of eating them. They escape the cat, but find themselves lost in the big city, where they chance to meet a robin, who says that if they follow his instructions they will be home in no time at all. So they set out into the unknown, always thinking that home is just over the horizon. They quickly find out two things. If 'it' doesn’t want to catch you, 'it' will want to catch and eat you - with just a few exceptions.
