The Ayla St. John Series by CJ Picard
A wolf/ vampire combo women, born a wolf but bitten by a vampire, faced trauma late in her teens that changed her perception on life of the immortals forever. As a result the whole series is built around her growth into a vigilante out to exterminate immortals who have no regard for human life. With a smug attitude, strong personality, a gutter mouth, she manages introduce a whole group out outcasts who become her second family, all helping her to rid the scum from the earth. But this is essentially a really good love story with lots of intrigue, adventure, fighting and HEA for everyone. I guess I enjoyed it the most because CJ captured distinctive personality traits in each character who all contributed to the action. I read the whole 6 books in4 days, couldn’t put the books down.
