I can’t summon the strength to move. My body trembles as I curl into a ball, clutching my knees to my chest, my sobs wracking through me in a raw, unrelenting cry I’ve never known. The air is thick with grief and pain, a cruel reminder of the monstrous act that has stolen my innocence. The blood beneath me is a dark stain on the forest floor, seeping from my body as my virtue slips away, lost to something that was never meant to be.
In the far distance, a wolf howls-a sound that pierces the night. The howl is haunting, echoing in agony, as though it shares in my torment. The world around me feels foreign, a place where shadows seem to hold secrets too dark to uncover.
