Kept me guessing and kept me reading
My mind's still reeling and I have no idea what to say to properly describe how amazing this book is. There's drama, tension, betrayal, action, adventure, lust, love, and romance. This book has everything I expect in quality romantic suspense and then gives me even more. Markus and Olivia are both so 'human'. It's easy to relate to them in so many ways. I don't know which one I wanted to cuddle and protect more: Olivia with the warped view of herself that had been imposed on her or Markus and his belief that everything he'd done in the line of duty made him unworthy of her. There are lots of lovely little twists to the plot that kept me guessing and kept me reading to see how it would all come out right in the end. And I loved getting the chance to see Jackson and Rose again. Already, I'm impatiently waiting for the next book in the series to be written and released.
