The Medicine Wheel

The Medicine Wheel is the second volume of the Terpsichorean Trilogy. This epoch extends for a period of almost 30 years in the lives of three ballet dancers.  


Tory Beckett returns to New York City where she continues to struggle against impossible odds, Her vision of becoming a ballerina in a large company takes her on a new and unexpected journey.


Jeremy Barlow realizes his well-planed life is frustrating and unrewarding.  After his return to San Diego, he struggles with his identity as a parent and tries to make sense of confusing issues with his marriage.  This is further complicated when he has to face his own parents after years of estrangement.


Frank St. Germaine thrives in his new fame on Broadway until fate turns against him.  He reinvents himself once again as a choreographer and creates his masterpiece, a ballet titled “Medicine Wheel”. However his well-planned life unravels several more times through the demons of bad choices, drugs and the 9/11 tragedy.  


All the characters are fictional. Many professional dancers read this manuscript and gave input to add to the authenticity of the story. Any resemblance to individuals either living or dead is purely coincidental.
