Publisher Description
Shadow is a cat who’s lived many lives.
Most of them as a ghost.
Whenever this spectral feline makes an appearance, her new owner is granted a very special gift—the power to communicate with spirits.
But this gift comes with a hefty dose of danger for its newest recipient, Mags McAllister, a modern candlestick maker and minor social media celebrity.
Join Mags and Shadow as they attempt to uncover the mysteries surrounding three untimely deaths with the help of three spirit victims that run the gamut from demure to demanding, conflicted to curious, and everything in between.
If you like magical cats, old houses, and a healthy dose of historical intrigue, then you do not want to miss this complete series from two USA Today bestselling author pals. Yes, here it is! This is your chance to binge read the full trilogy—Secrets of the Specter, Gifts of the Ghost, and Pleas of the Poltergeist—in this special boxed collection… Enjoy!
Customer Reviews
I was quickly hooked on the story
Secrets of the Specter
This was a fabulous start to a new series. I was quickly hooked on the story, and now that it’s over I’m a little bit rabid to get my hands on the next one. I love the way the mystery all ties into their family lineage and may answer more questions than just the one Mags started out to find. I‘m frustrated that we don’t have all the answers right away, but it guarantees that I’ll be first in line to find out what comes next.
Gifts of the Ghost
Mags uncovers more secrets as she and her aunt clean up and recover from the events of the previous book. But not everything that happened is over yet. Can the ghost of her ancestor protect her from all the people that don't want the truth to come to light? If you read the first book and are looking for more answers, you're going to read this one on the edge of your seat. I actually think I now have more questions than ever before. I'm already looking forward to seeing what new discoveries Mags uncovers in their next adventure.
Pleas of the Poltergeist
Well now. That took a turn I didn’t exactly see coming. I had a feeling I knew who Mags newest haunting would turn out to be, but certainly not all the answers she would bring with her. I love that we finally have an ending to all the wickedness that has befallen Mags and her family. And I have to say that the answer to her romantic conundrum was also not the direction I had thought it was going to go. I know we have a conclusion to what brought Shadow and Mags to us in the first place, but I hope this isn’t the last time we get to read about them.
I received a complimentary copy of this book through Booksprout.
