The Mermaid’s Mate

Sirine chased after George through a regal hallway, shouting his name. I need you, she said, and she stopped walking before he could go any farther. They had to walk side by side instead of facing each other as is more typical for couples due to the height difference. If Sirine weren't already dead, the situation would have been awkward for both of them. Not completely, not fully, but enough to help her cope with being apart from her doting husband and her physical body for the first time in what seems like an eternity. If only there were a solution to make her life easier despite all of these changes.
