Laura E. Richards (Laura Elizabeth Howe Richards) was an American writer. She was born February in 1850 in Boston in a social reformer's family. She published more than 90 books . Laura E. Richards is the first American nonsense poet for kids. One of her best books of nonsense poetry is called Tirra Lirra.
